Kodiak has the same transmission so I don't see why not.

Ya know, I never gave this a thought. The "owners manual" says to stop before shifting (pushing the switch on my electrically operated 2X/4X control) so that's what I've been doing. Now I'm gonna have to try this.

Now watch, mine will blow up - ha.

I have a grizz and a kodiak and I shift on the fly almost every trail ride i go on. I shift into 4x4 when i go up big hills or mud then i just keep goin and shift back to 2x4.

I've had no problems w/ the Vinson shifting "on the fly". I know the Prairie is hard to get in 4wd if you aren't moving.

The Kawie if you shift on the fly won't engage into 4X4 untill you go slower than 20KM/H

I can't see how it would be a problem as long as the rear wheels aren't spinning faster than the fronts when you do it. On my Polaris there is no issue AT ALL with shifting while moving but it doesn't have the front servo like the Grizz...
