Hey Roscoe, is your ATV only 2WD??? (I didn't know they came in 2WD, just going off Ratchet11's post) If so, you are better off buying a snowblower.

Check out the new Tusk plows from Rocky Mnt.. Complete with 1500lb winch lift (and mount) for under $500.
Looks like the quick mount plate from Polaris Glasier.

i did, its 409 for a 1500lb winch, 50 inch plow tubes and mount, but they dont make a mount for the recon, yes its a 250cc 2wd sport utility model.

You might want to forget about a plow without the 4x4. If I am in 2WD I have serious trouble pushing the snow if it is over 3". Plus, there are times I get hung up and barly get out in 4x4. And I have 12 inches of ground clearance with my ATV.

The Tusk for like $99.00 comes with a huge ugly switch.. THe one that is a bit more has the nicer small rocker..
I'd look at the USA built small 1700 winch from Moose or Quad Boss... It has the mini rocker AND parts available...

The cycle Country 48" plow is good as is a WARN 48" plow... both will work for your recon, and they have the mounts...

You will need a set of chains for sure with the 2WD... really you will...

Buy it and go have fun......

i am going witht he 200lb winch, i hope that one has the little switch, im getting it bc of the power converter box thing, (if that makes any sense.) and i looked at montana jacks and some other sites i couldnt find a warn plow mount for the recon,,, and my best friend has a recon, i mplowed with him last year, he was pushing up to 6 inches with me on the back for some traction, i am worried that chains wil ruin brickwork or newly sealed and paved driveways. we usually only get about 4 inches per fall around here, when it comes down hard ill be plowing my driveways in 6 inch shifts all through the night.
