Default What size tires???

I mostly trail riding but do lots of creek beds, mud, and snow riding too. I currently have a Suzuki Vinson with 26" Mud Lites but am thinking of getting a KQ. I will be getting Mud Lites for it too but what size would you guys recommend? I'm thinking 27" but want to hear your thoughts (advantages/disadvantages).

IMO unless you really need the gc or floatation the 27" just rob too much power for the minor improvements over 26" hides. If you are going through some nasty stuff that gets you stuck on the quad you have now then it may be a more reasonable option though.

Default What size tires???

Outrage, I'm in the process of buying the ITP mudlights for my AC 500 auto. I ride on similar terrain. I question weather I will lose too much power going from 25" to 26". Any suspension clearance problems?
Mind you my AC has the grunt but not the top end as yours.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

I can't speak much about the Artic Cat but the Vinson had no problems whatsoever. The only thing I noticed with these tires is that I can't slide the back end around as easily as before. I'm sure you will be fine unless you go up to 27s.

The 26" mudlites were incredible on my rancher 350, but did have a little power loss. I dont think that you will have a problem on an AC with all of that great low end power.
