Without going into great detail here is what I would do in your situation:
1. Trade the 27" Mud Lites in for 26" Mud Lites
- The extra money you save will help toward your wheels
- IMO you will get a better combo of traction/power for a 400cc machine
2. Buy whatever wheel is this lightest
- Who really cares about looks anyway, they all look the same when they are covered in mud
- Most aftermarket wheels look better than stock anyway
- Lightest means more power and that's what we're after here
This is just my opinion. I know you don't need speed but I'd hate for you to lose to much low end you either end up with putting on smaller tires or buying an entire new machine all together. Good luck with your choice and congrats on the new Mud Lites. This is the best mod I ever bought.

Choice has been made. I bought the ITp C-series type 5. I know they will be common in the next 6 months or so. Oh well I can never keep up with the Jones's anyway.
The 27" ML on the type 5 looks great. I was able to get them mounted on Christmas Eve and I was not allowed to install untill Christmas day orders of Mrs Bigbear03. All I can say is what a difference. I did lose a little power. It seems like I'm always pulling something in low rpm's. But the manual trans seems to shift better or smoother I should say. The hook up is nice, the bite is wonderful and I now have 13" clearance. One thing I'm having a problem with is the mudflaps. I cut the rears and seem to be doing ok but I think I need to cut a little more it still rubs when in reverse. Also the the left front rubs very bad. I just keep cutting untill it works. With the spacers this thing is super wide. Going into thickets now is very tricky.
I will just have to think about maybe doing the K&N/re-jet bolt on power and see what happpens. I also installed a warn front bumper that looks very nice. My digital camera ran out of battery and I will post the new pic's here in the next couple of days. Anyone thinking of getting the warn bumper I would give two thumbs up. Very beefy and simple to install.

FYI
Rockstar wheel in the '05 Rocky Mt. catalog, pg 365. Not online yet.
Aluminum cast construction, polished finish.
9 lbs each, in 12x7 only.
$65 plus $5 for caps, tapered lugs required.
Has anyone any experience with this new Douglas wheel.
What do you think of it?
The Vision 160 are nice looking, HD and clearcoated. Only problem are they weight 13-14lbs. each.

I did a drop test on both ITP C-5 vs Douglas rokstar.
ITP WHEEL: Load Weight 100lb. height 30inch. = Energy: 8000
Douglas: Load Weight 140lb. height 40 inch. = Energy: 14933
Above are the limits when wheel broke. Load weight all starts from 60lb, 20 inch
Result: rokstar is stronger on the lips, lighter on the total weight.

BigBear03- Before you cut your front flaps any more, let me take some pics of my front mud flaps and how they are modifyed so you can do the same, My Zilla's were flap hungry untill I came up with this plan, havent had a problem since.. You will need to purchase come aftermarket floorboards for this system to work but trust me, the flaps are 30 per side, even after extensive cutting, I still went through 3 sets before I figured this out.

I can tell you i would not recomend buying from < onlyatv.com> ....I bought wheels from them last month, and was satisfied...Then on 12-27-04 i ordered some tires, and i called them to change the size..They tell me i will have to wait till Monday the 3 of Jan.2005,since they may have been shipped already....Well, i could understand that,no problem...I called on Monday, and tuesday,,,they tell me no, because they say they have shipped the tires....My problem is,UPS tracking info says the tires were not shipped till Tuesday 1-4-05,,,at exactly 7:34 pm....That shows how much they care about their customers, and i will make sure anyone i know NEVER buys anything from them....I am a ATV dealer,as well as automobiles, and i intended on doing alot of business with them....I will Spend my $$$$$ ELSEWHERE....Buyer Beware!!!
