I have a 60" Moose plow on a 2005 Sportsman 800 EFI, and I'm searching for a way to turn the blade from the seat. I found a American Eagle Hydraulic Turn Kit and was wonder if there are other brands or if anyone has any input or the best place (price) on the above kit.

I did some research on this a few weeks before Christmas because I was looking for the exact same product. They were offering these systems on Ebay before Christmas and the reserve was at $289. There were no bidders on two auctions. I emailed TruckandSport to see if they would take less money, and they wouldn't.

Anyway, this is best electric/hydraulic system I've ever seen. There's no hoses, external hydraulic pumps, etc. It's all contained in one unit.

By the way, you won't find the HTK on their website. You'll likely have to call or email them. There are, as near as I can tell, two models that fit four or five different plow manufacturers' equipment including Warn, Moose, American, and others.

Dr. ATV has the same system but their advertised price as of today's date is $369.

Let me know if you purchase and install. I haven't bought mine yet, and will probably wait until next season now. Hopefully, they'll mark them down and I can get "a deal."

 

I found them today at Trax Motorsports (http://traxms.com/Merchant2/merchant...ries_Hydraulic) for $387.99. You price is better. I've sent a email to Truck and Sport Outfitters.com. I'll waiting for a responce, hopefully tomorrow. If it is available in the $290 range, I will get and let you know. Thanks for the information. Happy Trails
