How do these little winches handle when working submerged? Haven't tried the little ones but last fall I had my Big Rig stalled in 6 foot deep river water. I managed to reach down into the water and disconnect the 2 batteries that were mounted on bumper same level as winch and drag them up onto the truck hood. Hooked the leads to the submerged Warn 15,000, pluged the controls into the thing underwater and it pulled the truck out almost sidewayz, amazing winch.

they work fine underwater. had my kodiak completely submerged, worked just fine...although the ATV didnt

 

should not be a problem as its an electric winch
