painting racks
#21
I haven't used Rhino Lining on my racks, but did have my floorboards Rhino Lined. It's not for everyone but so far I like it and would do it again. Cost for both quads was a little less than $100.
If you decide to have this done, make sure it is applied to BOTH top and bottom. This is because Rhino Lining needs a continuity of coverage to prevent peeling at the edges. That won't happen if applied all the way around. I think coating the racks is an excellent idea and may do it myself. Although not indestructible, it's more durable than paint and provides a little cushion also (~3/16").
