recon help again
on my recon theres something wrong with the gears, i dont know how to explain it but, if i hit the throttle mid or all the way it sounds like it keeps climbing rpm's but it stays the same speed, so i have to slowly add throttle to go fast. The only time it works right is right when i start it up, and ride for a few minutes, then after i ride it for alittle while it starts doing that, whats wrong and how do i fix it? sorry that i cant explain it very clearly, but please try to help because it pisses me off.
Thanks for your time

Well your intiall chek should be your belt...Have you ever changed it?...if not im very sure it would be tha problem...look for worn spots or small freys...those are normally signs for a new belt is in order...but if your belt looks brand new then a new clutch is the next step...but open up the clutch to see if their is any liquids in it...water, oil, or any liquid kan easily create slippage...

Sorry Polaris, but no friggin BELT on any Honda, thank God! One of the primary selling points for loyal Honda riders.
Have you tried adjusting your clutch??? The procedure is in your owners manual. Do it by the book! It is the nut on the front of the engine case. If you do it wrong, you will have problems.
