Default Warn 4-2-4 ?

Can you engage and disengage the warn 424 on the fly? I'm pretty sure you can disengage from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive on the fly but not sure about 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive.

Default Warn 4-2-4 ?

warn webpage says you can but the wheels must all be moving at the same speed. So if you have it in 2 and the back wheels are spinning in mud then no.

You never want to swap to 4x4 w/ wheels spinning. I accidently did that in my truck once, it didnt hurt anything, but it sounded awfull. I got out and looked under just to be sure.

I had one on my rubicon, it would shift from 4x to 2x fine, but going from 2x to 4x I had to come almost to a complete stop.
