Default Lookin for a good quad for the wife

Just wondering what a good quad for the wife would be. I have an 03 eiger 4x4 manual with a warn winch and a moose plow and wed like to find her somthing with 2 and 4 wheel drive in the 350-400cc range. but she dosnt want to get anouther eiger. although mine has been an awsome machine. She just has to be different..............women.........

It depends on if she wants a automatic or manual shift quad and type of riding trail, mud, soft sand, etc. and how heavy a machine she can handle. It also depends how serious she is about riding and how often she can go, as to how much to spend and if you should buy new or used. I had similar situation with my wife when I bought snowmobiles.

My preference is always for the lighter/smaller machines. If she must have an automatic, try the Honda Rancher 400AT. It has selectable 2wd/4wd. The Rancher 350 transmission comes only in an autoclutch format. It can be fitted with a Warn 424 to make it selectable 2wd/4wd.

Unfortunately, the larger machines tend to have the plushest suspensions.

Kodiak 450. You better be ready to buy 2 though, otherwise you will be fighting over who gets to ride it.

IMO it's what you want cause chances are you'll use it more. Every xmas my wife tends to get a new torgue wrench, new ratchet set, ect,,,,,,, . You get the point. lol
