Default HELP??? NEED ADVICE

hi,

I have ridden a couple fourwheelers in the past, and just a bit ago took a newer honda 350 4x4 out in a trail and some mud, deffiantly got his bike stuck lol. I have been wanting one for years and its finally time to find a secound hand one. I've been told by many people to go with honda and honda only, i ve seen other makes that are fairly new for good prices but the honda's seem to be a bit more expensive lol. Ive got trials that lead from the end of the dirt road i live on in nova scotia, that go for hours and hours. Any advice on what type of bike to get??

Thanks, and sorry i realize these type of questions are asked constantly.

Honda doesnt have an exclusive on reliable bikes. Others will work too.
Whats the closest dealer? do you do your own work, or is someone else gonna do it?
If youre looking at buying new, or fairly new, then any of the big name brands should be more than good enough.
Id let other factors base my decision, like the kind of suspension (irs or solid), ride comfort, 4x4 system, dealer availability, and so on be a bigger factor, then what my buddies have. Id get whats right for me(and you get whats right for you), and let your buddies ride what they want.

Default HELP??? NEED ADVICE

I have a Honda and it does work great for my needs. I do agree with the HondaBuster though. I'm certain that I could be just as happy with another brand. I considered and looked a Suzuki but the dealer was just dripping of slime. So. I went back to the other guy that sells Hondas and was NOT trying to talk me into getting the most expensive machine. In fact he talked me down fom 500 to 450cc saying it is enough for what I wanted to do. He was honest and perfectly right. As I later found out it really was good advice from him. How many of you have heard of a dealer like that? That is how I made the final decision on the brand.
First figure out what you want to do and buy a machine accordingly. If you don't know, than get one that is a good general purpose something in the mid-power range. A dealer near by also a factor. Good luck
