anyone still have any old fourwheelers?
Up until a year or so ago I still had my first quad. The YFM Moto4 Yamaha. It was the 225 (so it was a YFM225ER me thinks) had dual racks and about 2" front/rear suspension travel. It was a mid 80's model 85 or 86 I think. That was a great 4-wheeler, never a minutes trouble until the end, the clutch pack began to slip a little, but if left in Low Range it was fine.
More power.... no I don't think so, but I don't think I've ridden a ATV that was geared lower. That YFM and my '92 Timberwolf were such good machines. I have to say that Yamaha's have treated me right. Thus my wife rides a Yamaha Bruin 250. Basically my 'wolf with new plastics, better lighting, and disk front brakes.

My bosses father has one of these as well. Along with my dad's '85 I would have to agree with you totally.

It is need of minor repairs. Muffler almost all gone, engine smokes a little bit, all four tires need replacing, seat is nothing but duck tape, dead battery with no kick starter, lights don't work, handelbars are bent, and body pannels are in poor shape. I think that covers it all. This winter I am going to try to do a big makeover, however parts are hard to find for this one.
