Default problems fixed in the kodiak 450 2006 ??

Do you know if ¨Yamaha Factory¨ fixed the brake squeak or changed the rear grease zerks to angles ones on the 2006 kodiak 450 ? (this question is a original idea of windmillatwork)

Default problems fixed in the kodiak 450 2006 ??

Hi Onlyquad.... Thanks for the credit.... I do remember someone saying that the zerks were changed to angle grease zerks but the squeak remained. Which makes me wonder why...if thats the case why wouldn't they fix the squeak problem also? It is the most talked about thing on the kodiaks. The grizz doesn't have the problem so whats the deal. Anyone else have any comments on this issue? I don't have the squeak problem any more (have over 500 miles on my kodiak) and and I changed the zerks to angle when I first got it. I just had the tie rod ends replaced(recall). It certainly made a difference in how my steering feels. It feels tighter now (I like!) and also my alaignment is straight. It has always been a little off even after taking it back when I first got it for an alignment.
