Default Ranger Owners : Unite !!!! Let's hear from ya!

I have a Polaris 700XP on order,it's for my Stepson who's handicapped.

I'd like to hear from Ranger owners. How do you like your Ranger? What don't you like?

What would you like to see changed on your machine?

Myself, I think an oil filter, and maybe auxilliary radiator capacity will make the Ranger even better.

Are there anti-Sway bars on the front? (I forgot to look)!

C'mon, help give us all an easier place to gather information. Thanks

OK: Nobody has posted to this yet! Do Rangers need mud flaps on the front? I seem to remember a mud-rider who said he put 'em on........Actually, I'm just killing time until I take delivery of my Stepson's XP! (next weekend).

i don't hear much bad about polaris. the overflow can for the radiator might be something you can add on without too much problem. i doubt that it has front sway bars (my brute has rear one only) and i doubt that you'd want one up front. what kind of handicap does your stepson have? you might find some more reading.

you would have better luck asking that question in the ruv and rtv off road vehicles part of this sight. they specialize in side by sides.

It doesn't have an overflow (Puke) can? That's an easy fix....He is Mentally impaired (20 years old, but mentally about 5) and has Cystic Fibrosis (most of them don't make 30) so,(He lives with us)...his mom and I thought a Ranger (Truck!) with snow plow,HD Cab,etc, would be a great experience for him. He'll have a helmet, and always be with an adult when riding.

He's a good boy, he already has a small quad and snowmobile at his Dad's house....(I should say his Biological Dad,as I consider him to be my Son,also).

He is a very careful, but a bit slow, driver. We'll have to convince him to give it a little juice!

And if we're REALLY good, he might let us put the hammer down(with him riding shotgun).Haha.

This is the utility section! But I've been jumping around to the different forums....What's a "Side by side"?

A wide ATV?
