hah well it snowed here over night about a foot and a half and its still snowing! i guess it sucks for you guys[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] but i think i am going to go ski-dooing today[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

well you guys can have all our snow if you want it is fricken snowing again. usually though january for us is average temp abotu -30 and no snow and this year it has been snowing about about 10 degrees so i won't complain about it. but with it partially melting you can't even stand on the gravel roads last weekend i either pushed or pulled 4 people out of the ditch on friday night and almost hit the ditch once myself well i did but i purposely went through it and i had fun doing it to darnit lol. i am just waiting for summer so i can ride my dirtbike and fourwheeler and go sit down by the river throw a line in the water and sip on a few brews on them nice 80 degree days.

 

to change from celcius to frarenberg take degrees c x 2, then subtract 10% of that and add 32....like this....

-30c X 2 = -60....-10% (-6) = -54 (remember subtract a neg means add)....then add 32..= -22 f

-40c X 2 = -80...-10% (-8) = -72...add 32 = -40 f....thats the test cause -40c = -40f

+100c X 2 = 200....-10% (20) = 180....add 32 = 212 f...the other test cause....100c = 212 f

0c X 2 = 0.... -10% (0)....add 32 = 32f

I don't know how to convert the other way f to c....but this is an easy..."in your head method" and its exact...fwiw

(from Winnipeg -31c today)....-31 x 2 = -62....-10% (-6.2) = -55.8 + 32 = -23.8 f
