Mud Lite's
#1
Well I decided to go with the Mud Lites's over the Swamplite's. I went out yesterday and they are bad a$$. They feel much better on my Kodiak than the stock tires and wheels. Now I just need the snow to melt so I can try them out in some MUD!

They pull pretty good in the mud. I would like a little more of a side lug. They also according to most of the populace, wear funny. I have had really good luck with 2 sets of mine. I intend to try some 27" mud bugs for my next tire though. Good luck with your tires.

Hey toughguy, if you like your Mudlite, but don't like the wear on them, you may try the Superlights. On my KingQuad, one 26" rear on an aluminum ITP rim only weighs three pounds more than the stock setup, which is very good. They look identical to a Mudlite. However, they are supposedly composed of a harder rubber compound and thus, wear better. If I ever see my machine again, maybe I can put them on and test them out for you guys, but that's a big if at this point as the dealer is now one week overdue from the deadline we originally set.

Oh boy. I took it in to get the throttle assembly and tie rod recalls done, along with having a Dalton Clutch Kit installed. It went in exactly two weeks ago tomorrow and I was told then that it would be done in a week tops. Called them up two tuesdays ago and asked if it would be done the following day, as scheduled. Answer was basically that no it would not and not only were they still waiting on some of the parts (I would have figured I wouldn't even bring it in until they had the necessary hardware), but they hadn't even begun work on any of it with the parts they did have, which would have been AT LEAST the clutch kit I supplied them and I believe the had the throttle assembly parts as well, but that's not really the point. Point is the machine's now overdue at this point and nothing has been done to it at all, so they've wasted a week of my time. The last time I called them was this past Saturday to see where we were on it. SAME story, waiting on the tie rods, except that they had at least begun the other stuff and we were looking at TODAY at the latest. No call today. You can bet I'll be giving them a ring tomorrow if I come home to no call from them on my caller ID. I don't know who to blame, Suzuki for not supplying the recall parts in an orderly fashion, the dealership for making me take it in a full week before they even touched it or just both of them. Chances are though, next time I need something done to it, it's not going to this same place just to get a feel for how their service is as opposed to somewhere else.

ALL dealerships are like that. Kawesaki couldn't supply their tire rod recall parts fast enough either. You just gotta figure that all over the country people need these parts. The dealerships should just give you a better ETA on repairs. And not try to lie or phib when it comes to geting the job done. And yes red I might try them, I have read a couple of good reveiws on the super grips. But I want to try a totally different tire all togather. Thanks.

I feel your pain Redgoblin. You just described my local GM dealer in which I do all the collision repair and warranty work for. They are so bad, I don't even buy my GM collision repair parts from them, it is just not worth the hassle. Good luck getting it back so you can ride again soon.

Thanks, I'll need it. The way I look at it though, and I'm not even really a man of faith, maybe god has decided it is time now for me to get it back because the center caps for my ITP Rims that were missing since the 11th will hopefully be here tomorrow as well via FedEx. I was thinking maybe the almighty was making them keep the King so that when I went to put the wheels/tires on, I was 100% satisfied with the upgrade. Who knows, but I'm definitely hoping for tomorrow. Maybe the stars and planets are finally in alignment. Thanks to those of you wishing me luck, because I do LOVE posting reviews, almost as much as gathering the information and opinions to make them
