My friend has a 1995 honda 300 2x4. I was thinking about buying it off of him. Does anyone know the top speed of the fourtrax 300. It would also be helpful if someone could point in the right direction for getting performance parts for it (exhaust, jets, etc).

Dont try and mod the fourtrax. That is silly. Its a machine for older people(no offense) who want a nice little reliable atv to go back and forth to their ice house, or deer stand, or chores. I had a 4x4 300 fourtrax, 1993, and it did great for what i did. It went through thick and thin with no reliability issues. It just wasnt a powerhouse for pulling, mudding, or racing. But it was the most dependable atv i ever had, sofar.

 

mines pretty good with pulling and mudding. thats all i do with it. but my dad put some bad gas in it and now its screwed till i find a good guide on how to clean the carb. im trying to see if you can just bolt on an ex suspension. it doesnt really need it but i think itd be cool to do it.
