JD, I have seen some Koplin hand gaurds that have mirrors in them that work pretty good. How about two quick detachable bladed weedeaters on the front. Coming up just about the height of your grips. To trim grown up trails, of them briars and limbs. Never enough power!

Thanks for the tip Digger! I'll have to check that out.
What does everyone think of E85-capable quads? Not to get political, but the same environmentalists that accuse quads of eroding the environment would have to applaud us as well maybe?
Granted, the range on a quad running E85 would be noticeably less but I'd be willing to sacrifice that. I carry extra fuel for a reason!! Or....maybe I could just pack a mini-stihl to make my own fuel as I ride.....hmmmm. ;-)

As I understand it, auto makers get a break (allowed to make more cars in the guzzler catagory) if they also make alternative fuel vehicles. It apparently doesn't cost much to certify a fuel injected vehicle to run on E-85, so they do, even though E-85 is only available in a handful of places.
Still, if it were available and my quad would run on it, I'd consider using E-85. I think a lot of ATV riders would, too. Just because you aren't one of the extremists who think there shouldn't be trails allowed anywhere doesn't mean that you want to trash the environment.
