I have an 2005 King Quad, and im wanting a set of 27" Mud Bugs and I was wondering the expierence you all have had with these tires and how much power loss their will be?

 

No experience with those, but you will notice some power loss. I put 26" swamplites on mine (check pics) and love the all around traction. They are supposed to be #1 selling all terrain tire. (Snow, mud, rocks, hardpack) The mud bugs are supposed to be good for mud though, if thats what you are mainly doing. Someone with those tires might be able to help you better.

 

i put 27" dirt devil XT's on mine and definitely slowed it down. not too bad though. i am going to get an EPI clutch kit to make up for it. some say its faster than stock after install with the big tires.

 

Hey "king" how do you like those dirt devil xt's I was wanting to get a set of 26' for my eiger in the next couple of weeks, how do they wear? Do you think that the 26 will be to big for me and I going to jet and pipe first to help. Thanks

 

i had a set of dirt devils a while ago and they were good tires. just wore outr too fast. i like my mud lites xtr's they handle pretty good and they dig too good.
