Default brute 750i?

a quote from a guy on Highlifter. "i finally found a fix for the KQ lag. i bought a Brute"
Wow that was an expensive fix when the ECU from VDI for the King Quad will only cost $400 when it's released in September. It will fix the severe timing retard. So say good-bye to your only avalible put down of the King Quad!

Montyh, haha the Brute and the Sportsman are equal. And everyone knows that. The fact everyone is trying to make is that the Brute750 is just flat out uncomfortable to ride. Its got some Sick power, some exclusive features like its diff lock. It can, of course, keep up with every other machine, BUT you'll be hurting by the end of the day. EVERYONE knows the BF750 handles like poopoo. The 650i, however, handles much better.

i have been hearing that the '07 750i has the improved front end from the 650i. if this is true, you guys will have to find another atv to run down.

and how about you? have you ever ridden a Brute Force? i have ridden with a Polaris and it did a great job. handled the tough stuff without a hitch.

Hey now, don't take it to hard that people are ragging on the Brute, b/c a lot of people rag on the King Quad as well, saying it's underpowered...some Kawi guy called it "A gutless Rincon." that really ticked me off b/c it's not true! I would personally rather my ATV get ragged on about poor suspension and handling, rather than power. If it wasn't for the KQ I would've gotten the BF 750 in a second, I still would, even with the Outty 800 out there.

Oh yeah...The BF 750i is a good bit faster and more powerful than the Sportsman 800 with the Copperhead CDI from VDI...so with the money you save buying the BF 750 over the Po800 you could get the CDI and say bye bye Popo.

yea, i know i should let it go. i would have bought a King except the local dealer gouged me on parts for my little quadrunner all the time, and i stumbled onto the 650i at another dealers.
i saw that post about the "gutless wonder" thing. somebody who hasn't ridden what he was talking about. the VDI is gonna shake some things up. i really hope Lyle comes through for the King like he did for the Kawi.

Yeah, and hey man im sorry if i offended you too, i was just saying. I think the Brute is an outstanding machine. Kawasaki makes the best V-Twins in the buisness IMO. I've ridden a P650 and P700, but not the 750. Anyway, the Brute has alot of things going for it. And i personally think its the best priced big bore out there. Great bang for the buck. That and the KQ. And yes im sure if you did get the CDI from VDI you would be saying bye bye PoPo, but not when both are stock.

Do your homework for yourself but, After doing my own research and drueling through mags and showrooms for the money I chose the Brute Force 750. I love it! And have put it through the paces. The Outlander 800 is cool and full of quality features like it's 4 wheel drive system and the 2 up seating to take that extra person sitting around camp out for a putt. I with Kawasaki or someone would come out with a sake 2 up seating gig for the Brute Force.
But like I said, for THE MONEY I would go Brute Force, As matter of fact the 650 and 750 are so close in performance I would go with the 650 insted of the 750 and spend the dough your save on wheel tire upgrade or winch.
Yeah do the wheel tire upgrade and sell me your takeoffs LOL! Good luck and happy quad hunting.

I disagree. 1 King Quad + $400 part is still more than 1 Kawi Brute.

No he already had a KQ and went out and bought a new Brute that's like $8000 OTD vs. keeping the KQ and paying $400 more. If he was deciding between the two at a dealership then your correct, but he wasn't.

I will be the first to admit that I hated teh BF750 when I first rode it. It felt very unstable.

To truley know how the BF750 handles you have to spend lots of hours on it. You will come to realize that the feeling is just that... a feeling. There is a point to where it feels like you are going to flip, but trust me you aren't going to.

We have been riding and riding the BF750 trying to find its breaking point. We can finally take it in the woods and fly pretty good. I got video of my cousin doing donuts on pavement. It is a different feeling and most people don't want to try to learn to adjust to it. Don't get me wrong... it is no where near as fast as my SRA in the woods but it is not as bad as people make it out to be. With some good body english and knowing how to comtrol your throttle and brakes you can fly in the woods and have alot of fun.

As for the ride quality being poor or uncomfortable. That is totally opinion. I am very comfortable on the Kawies. When I get on the KQ700 or some of the others I feel like I am driving a bicycle. The handle bars are too low and narrow...... but that is my opinion. I am 6'3" and 250lbs, not a small guy at all. I have very broad shoulders and I prefer the Kawies over the other brands by far.
