Polaris poor customer support
#1
I had a real problem with misinformation from a local dealer (Broward Motor Sports, Davie Florida). I have a 2004 ATP/500HO. They advised me that the same fluid that goes in the rear diff. is the same fluid that goes in the transmission. They also said that their Polaris tech has not shown up to work in three days and there’s no one to ask! Customer Service said there is no avenue to contact tech support for this simple issue. I will be sending this e-mail to the Miami Herald Newspaper warning other Polaris owners of our very poor customer support. I have never had this problem with my Honda or my prior Yamaha.

Thanks for posting the name of the dealership. If everyone would do this, good or bad, it would help others in their area. Too bad you have a crummy dealer, maybe someone in your area can post a reliable dealers name.

Use a 80-90 weight diff oil. Your crankcase should be fine with 10-40, but i use 0-40 because its optimal for all seasons and i ride ALOT
