I don't know what kind ATV you own,but if Honda is so under powered why have they won more titles than any other manufacture.

When it comes to climbing I'm going to have to go with the Quadmaster 500. That thing is a freakin torque monster especially in 4L. It's torquey engine and short wheel base enable that thing to pretty much go anywhere. I've been in some unique situtations with that thing that i wouldn't even attempt with my honda when it comes to inclines.

RUBICON500,
You said that the Ruby has won more ''titles'' than any other manufacture out there!Could you please explain that statement?

The ONLY so called ''title''[for a lack of a better word] that comes to my mind is the one that ATV connection magazine gave it,it was THEIR choice for ATV of the yr.

What mug bog has the Ruby ever won? What pulling contest has it ever won? What hill climbing event has it ever won?Would these events also not be concidered in YOUR perception of ''TITLES''?If im missing something here, please educate me,
Bill

In regaurds to my previous statement about honda and it's many tiles.I was being as general as the person who made the statement that ( HONDAS ARE UNDERPOWERED).Honda as a hole from grandprix, road AMA super bike racing to moto cross.I did'nt mean for it to be taken as they were the most winning 4wheel ATV. I personaly think that the RUBICON is the best alaround big bore ATV.I'm sorry for any confusion in my last statement. Oh just in case your wondering I only ride with Polaris machines. SOMEONE NEEDS TO BRING THEM HOME! JUST KIDDING. DAVID

i just unsubscribed from ********* because there was too much 'my atv is better than your atv'. i have an arctic cat 500 4x4 auto and i think the sun rises and sets on it but i will never say that it is better than one atv or another. the current atv manufacturers would not mass produce a lemon on purpose, all atvs have their strengths and weaknesses; furthermore, one company may have the upper hand for a while but the others will eventually catch up and possibly exceed the current leader. when you were a kid did you ever play king of the mountain? unless you were real big you didn't stay king for long.

If ya want maximum climbing power with minimal danger of rollover due to being top heavy I would go with the Quadmaster 500. The short wheel base and wide stance combined with the extremely torquey engine give that thing unbelievable climbing power. ATVREVIEW rated it the best atv in 2000 for an automatic in the 500-600cc range for climbing and trail riding.

Cowboy, I'm in the beginning stages of buying a utility atv. Already I'm leaning towards the AC500MANUAL. The features sell it, 2x4 or 4x4, 500 liquid cooled Suzuki motor, gearbox with low-range, ground clearance, fuel capacity, comfortable riding suspension,a real all around rig. I'll try out a couple other brands, but logic points towards the cat. Any insite is welcome.
