JerBear525, IMO there's not a "best" ATV out there b/c EVERYONE isn't going to agree...If you want info which does what the best then I'd be able to tell you.

The Polaris 700 has the plushest ride, plows the best, tows the best...odd 4WD system not a full time 4wd selection, goes into 4wd when the rear wheels slip-----IMO not as good as real world limited slip 4wd with locker.
The KQ 700 has a great ride, very good handling, EFI,true front locker/4wd system, detuned severely though so it has disappointing low end power in stock form.
The Grizz 700 is very comparable to the KQ but it has better low end power b/c it isn't detuned plus it has power steering and true front locker/4wd. Power steering isn't proven though so....
The Outty 650 has execellent power and good handling, bad front suspension, odd front locker setup though, engages when it wants to why BRP and Polaris have to be different hear beats me b/c true 4wd with selectable front locker is better.

Yes, it is like the MRP from Arctic Cat. That is where Polaris got the idea. However the Polaris system isn't as user friendly and sturdy due to those plastic racks. Both accessories are over priced though.

Not me, I only mount my wife and it takes me at least 2 minutes and 30 seconds

I want to hear from the person who started the thread. What type of riding do you do? That has ALOT to do with what advice we'd give you.. Also i'll go ahead and tell you my opinion. And i may have said this before but i'll say it again..

I think Polaris has more going for them right now then anyone else. And here are a few reasons why..
1. The best/most plush ride in all of ATVing.. Simply outstanding.
2. Lock'n'Ride compatibility system (already mentioned)
3. Electronic Fuel Injection
4. Oldest/Most proven EFI ATV out there. The Sportsman700EFI has now in its 4th year of production and the bugs are worked out...
5. Most storage (by far)
6. True AWD ( i like Polaris' 4wd system the best, although MANY will disagree, but its a matter of opinion)
7. Best towing capacity
8. Dual Rear brake lights with rear work lights
9. Best stock tires available with some awesome stock rims
10. And now, if you get a 2007 you get Polaris' newest addition.. Active Decent Control (ADC) Its Polaris's new downhill 4wheel enging breaking and from what i hear, its great.

So anyway, i know personally that alot of other ATV's are better at certain things and each ATV kindof has its specific purpose, but if i were buying right now, i think i can honestly say that i'd go with the Polaris 700. Its the best selling 700cc class ATV ever so far, its proven, has unique features, and i've had absolutely zero problems with mine, and i've pushed it about as hard as it can be pushed. And the weight has definatly not been an issue, so dont let that scare you. I love mine.

Good luck with your decision, i hope i helped.

Yes you are correct with the Active Decent Control (ADC). However, getting the back up lights, the ADC, the 2.5 winch, the nice rims and nice tires you have to jump up to a deluxe package, which is about $1200 or more. This is what the dealer told me the other day when I called about a price on the pol800 X2. That is not to say it is a bad thing, because once you add nice tires, rims, cargo boxes, 2.5 winch and back up lights to another brand of atv, the price will be higher.

Bad? Are you talking from personal experience? I adjusted my shocks and can hit whoops on trails with NO problem, soaks it up very well.

No not from personal experience, but I've heard it from several Outlander owners and magazine reviews, they all said the front shocks/suspension were just bad, and from pictures I've seen of the front shocks it'd have to agree with them.
