I will be interested to see how it really runs. By using history...Diesels dont do very well in the V formation. They should try to slap one of those little inline 3 cylinders in a quad someday.

Hmmm. Many, many V configuration diesels in use all over the world. A common place to see V8 diesels are freight trucks.

Most of the Diesels in todays trucks are inline 6 cylinders. Like was said before, V's never held up too well. There are always some exceptions, but this is usually the case. Go on the Cat, Cummins, etc website and see how many are in a V configuration. I have been around diesels for about 30 years, and give me an inline anyday.

in-line will produce more torque but the v style will produce more horsepower in the raw stage just look at the cummins, ford and chev. trucks two use v power and one uses the in line i do love the in line dont get me wrong but i think the v style will work better in a small bike.

all the most powerful diesels are Vs, but I think this is going to be an inline twin biodiesel.

With the noise and slow speed the Polaris diesel had, unless they make some major improvements, it probably will die out as fast as the Polaris did.

i just put the info on my pics page i hope it works? but it needs to be approved so we will give it time. i might have read into it a little to early it doent say v-twin just twin sorry but an inline i think would be too long so i just assume it is a v-twin?
