Who makes the best utillity atvs????

OK I want to know where y'all are buying these low priced Kawi's, because up here in the North East Kawi's are 3rd in line in the price tag department. And I have to agree that everyone is going to have their own opinion as to what is the best utility atv. Obviously you've seen what I've chosen... though mine does not work on a farm, or anywhere else, it plays in the mud, hauls the occasional deer and more than a few times has towed (cough Grizz 700 cough cough Polaris 800 cough) out of some mud.... Before yall jump on my case, my buddies are running stock machines and I am not.

I dont dissagree with you Raidermike, some people like me are avid outdoorsmen, hunters, and fishermen. If thats were AC shines over the rest, so be it.

i WOULDNT buy an artic cat, they are too top heavy and tippy feeling. heck they dont even make half of their own motors.
Who Cares about the motors, If that was a big issue, then why are ACs sales up every year for the last 6 yrs?

i know that if i were going to buy a bike with a kawi or suzuki motor i would buy one of those 2. the arctic cat plants from kawi and suzuki are detuned. you can go buy a bike that is equal of the capability with more grunt! i was at bass pro the other day and seen the 700 ac and you guys complain about an outtys price? omg! i liked to of fell over! i dont have a problem putting my 650 outty into a powerslide.....not even on the highway

All new ACs are now powered either by Suzuki motors or by their own AC built motors such as the 650H1. And Suzuki owns a good sized chunk of Arctic Cat so I don't see any dissadvantage in running very reliable and economical power from Suzuki. Can-Ams are built in Mexico and have connection to Rotax. Polaris has connection with KTM for motors and ownership. The ACs with Suzuki power still keep the distinct AC utility features.

First off, they are not "detuned" from Suzuki (same goes for the Kawasiki motor that was sold) however the AC are not as fast because they are heavier and ment for Utility work, more then sport.
As oldturtle said, Suzuki owns 42% of Arctic Cat. Why would they want to put an inferrior engine in there???? Nobody wants AC to succeed more then Suzuki.
You must have got a good deal on your 650, if you think $6,900 is a lot for a 700 - which is what they go for up here now.
