Default warn winch problem

The Warn Winch the Yamaha Dealer wanted to sell me for $69 was half the size as a Warn 2500lb, Im fully aware what a Warn 2500 looks like cause a friend owns one and I helped him install it. This $69 Warn was gray in color it had a Yamaha decal in the lower front and Warn decal on the direct top, the way it would mount is the the right, it had a flat face metal roller head, not a 4 roller head thats std. Note: When I went to a Yamaha Dealer I wanted a Big Bear but I was trying to force him to match the price of the Suzuki Eiger that was much less expensive, so he may have bait and switched the $69 winch by offering me a generic knock-off to save himself by matching the price on the Eiger, I was ready to pay $400 more for the Big Bear cause I belived it was better than the Eiger, and was ready to sign the paperwork and take it home, but looking over the paperwork I noticed an additional charge of $300 that was never agreed too in the past deal and he told me thats the install charge for the winch, I kindly told him to knock off that $300 and I will install the winch myself, then he blew up and thru a fit and started yelling at me telling me I can't install the winch myself, and i took that as an insult as he thinks im too stupid to install it, then we started calling each other names and I walked out. Honest Truth!

Well, that just sounds like a dealer that must not have been hungry enough, to make a sale. I don't even need to point out, that has to be the worse kind of sales tactics. Sure, call me stupid and I'll buy your quad. No thanks!
I am curious, I would love to see that winch. Plastic screws? WOW!!!

My experience with every ATV and Motorcycle Dealer I know is every owner of the dealership is a shady, lowlife, crooked businessman like they come from the mafia or they work for a druglord or something. Everything they sell they wanta rip you off and if you do complain about the price they jump down ur throat use curse words in front of women and children, they treat young men like garbage when they visit their showroom just to look at the bikes, I tell them if they don't want customers in the building just to look why do they have a showroom for? They expect everybody that walks into their business to walk out buying something at their price, and when they don't the dealer gets mad and takes out his anger at the next customer that walks in the door. I wish I owned a bike and atv dealership I would do it better, I would treat customers like gold, treat them good and friendly and they will end up coming back to buy.

So because of your experience with this one shady dealer, you think ALL dealers are ripping customers off with knockoff Warn winches and no one knew they were getting some cheap imitation?.......You think this would be going on so widespread without customers pitching a fit or Warn themselves filing charges??? OK, think what you want, but that is highly doubtful.

So you bought your Eiger from a shady, lowlife, crooked business man. Was he also the one that told you that you would get respect because you ride a Suzuki?

I didn't say one dealer is shady and crooked, I SAID "ALL" DEALERS ARE SHADY, CROOKED BUSINESSMEN ! At least all the dealers I know are, 5 each dealers I know. IF the big ATV Manufactures would select good people and give out their dealerships or right to sell their ATV products to good, moral buinessmen im sure their sales would increase and the brand name of their ATV would not have a bad reputation. The dealership represents the name brand of the ATV, so if this dealer gets his name in the newspaper as a drug dealer then it makes that brand name of the ATV look bad and his dealership rights should be yanked away and given to a good responsible person. How is anybody going to purchace a new ATV from a dealer if they are afraid to walk into his building worried about a drive by shooting or if a drug deal is going down and you might be an innocent bystander when the bullets are wizzing back and forth? huh? Do you walk in and say " Hey, like wow man, I need a fix on a new Grizzly" ?

I would help you but I'm afraid to drive my c-channelled sheet metal framed truck. Also it probably doesn't have the horsepower to get up my driveway. It isn't a Ford.
