What I was trying to say was. He is crazy for thing a Eiger will never out do any big bore atv and he need to go to www.highlifter.com and he will see what a CVT will do. I have 04 polaris 700 sportsman. sorry for the mad babbel.

wow, i cant beleave this thread is still going. lol. well guys even if you had a head to head show down and proved your point by winning, you still wouldnt change their minds(or lack there of) on the cvt being a good tranny choice. all i know is when your giving all its got in a geared tranny and need to grap another gear your done!! end of story.

good point stendori,imagine riding up that sheer face of a cliff and having to get your next gear because your going so fast , again I think Motof150 didn't take that into consideration when he was telling his yarn.

if you remember right, he climbed those hills in "high gear" so he didnt have to shift.....lol

My bad I assumed he was mortal like the rest of us .
and actully had to shift gears ,
he said that was important ,to be able to shift gears ,
Because CVTs were always burning there belts up because they didn't run right with belt slippage and all .
