Default Carb vs EFI when use in water

I have also heard this rumor, from some patient at a home, motormouth mabey? Who knows. But at any rate, ive only seen one quad spin a belt from getting wet, and that was a 2004 Wolverine.

I've seen 2 now. A complete pile of a Polaris 600, One that has never treated well or maintained. Then this past weekend a buddies Can Am 800 started slipping. He tried going through a pretty deep and long water hole, about 50 yards and up to the bottom of the tank. He tried it in high and it started slipping. He put it in low range and came right out. But this same quad sat in a creek for about an hour back in the summer and had no problem, Go figure.

neither my sp.450 or my EFI 800 has had any issues w/ water from starting, running or belt slippage. if you see one of my pics. its pretty much up to the seat.

you obviously don't get out much
