how many lbs. of pressure in tires?

Default how many lbs. of pressure in tires?

well, i got my 22x11x9 mudlites mounted today and they look awsome!! the tire shop pumped them up to what is recommended....7 psi.....they're ROCK solid.....im thinking they're way too pumped up.....what do you think they should be at?

your tires should be at the pressure that is listed on the label thats on your fenders or ownersmanual. THats what i run on mine and it moves smoothly. But u could adjust accordingly based on the terrain you ride on.

well......the tires say max is 7 psi and thats what they put it at.....i ride threw ROUGH trails....taking down pretty decent sixe trees, mud, rocks, and jumping.......what psi do you think? they're so solid that when i push my foot on them, they dont budge at all lol

It's really your judgment call, I would say you could go anywhere between 2.5 to 5, wherever you feel is most comfortable. What you don't want to do is go below that 2.5 and end up with a pinch.

I run stock pressure of 5 PSI in my two SP450's....Try 6 PSI then Droped to 5 and see.......Just keep an eye on your sidewall and bead.................caper...............

I would go with 5 psi on the tire's , they always fill them to max when mounting new tire to help with sealing the tire bead to the rim's ! ...............williebee

its all in your comfort level.the more psi the harder it rides. less air is a little better griping as well.

the mud lites are a very solid tire rode my grizz home with a flat and didnt ruin anything i think i had like 3in front and 4 in the rears
