Sliming a Tire

Default Sliming a Tire

Hi, i got me a leaky tire and a bottle of slime
I was just wondering how i should slime it?(a stupid Question)
Just pour the slime in and lay the tire on the side where it leaks??
any responses would be helpful

Default Sliming a Tire

Instructions should be on the slime bottle.

Remove the valve, pour the slime in, replace the valve, rotate tire a little and air back up. The best thing you can do to get the slime in the right place is to drive it a little at moderate speeds.

i always over inflate a little then drive it to help push the slime in the right areas w/ the extra air pressre then when it stops leaking adjust air according

I was talkin about sliming a tire for leak around the bead

put around 30 oz a tire and i like to put it in tires adjascent to each other to make sure that they are semi-balanced and ride it for 20 min or so to distribute the slime evenly. love the stuff myself.

yea i put about 32 oz in myself and then in flate and ride a bit to make go thru out the tire.
