Say Wolfy, were you running the 8 inch tires on stock Yamaha rear wheels that came stock with 10 inch tires? If so any issues with 8 inch sidewalls on the wide wheel. I have often thought about going this route of 25x8-12 Bighorns on all wheels. Reason is weight savings and easier to pick through rocks and ruts.

Thanks Wolfy. My guess is that the stock 700 rear wheels are close to 8-1/2 inches wide for 10 inch tires and that these wheels would be too wide for good performance of 8 inch wide rubber. Probably not the best idea anyway and should just stick to stock sizes. The idea of the lightest and narrowest Bighorn on all 4 corners is interesting to me though and I don't see any negatives for my type of terrain which is high mountains and rocks.
