6100 seems like a pretty good price. As was said before, dont buy a 400 only to wish you had a 700. Suzuki makes a good product, and would be a good choice for trail riding

The crazy part is I started looking at a used bike. Then somehow talked myself into a new 400 size. Then after noticing only a 400 to 800 dollar increase to step up to the 700 I have now talked my self into a 700cc.

How does the Grizzly 700 compare to the King Quad 700?

Order the Grizzly 700 DVD from Yamaha and find out. Most people who own them won't ride anything else. In the beginning some riders complained of cold start problems in below freezing temps, but that was because they were stupid and didn't put in 5-30 weight winter oil in the bike; like it says to do in the owners manual.

With fuel injection, power steering, and a three-way pushbutton locking front differential-2WD; limited slip 4WD; locked 4WD, most most owner posts I've read think it's the king of the trail, and the only thing they can think to change is the tires to meet their needs.

It is basically a turn key ATV.

I'm also pretty impressed by the new Griz. It was on my short list when I got the Rincon.

Why did you go with the Rincon?

I think the only other thing that comes in as handy as the difflocker is selectable High and Low range tranny.

I am pretty sure the AC500 has both it but not sure about the other brands.

Is power steering standard on all Grizzly 700's?

Why did you go with the Rincon?
I really like the suspension and handling, and I'm also not a big fan of belt drive automatics. Also, I'm familiar with Hondas, and familiar with the Rincon since a riding buddy has one. Mainly, I guess it was just the one I wanted (you know, that intangible quality).

It really rides well, and you don't realize how fast you are flying over rough stuff until you try it on something like my Foreman. Throttle response and shifting on the 3 speed auto are much improved on the 680, and the front disk brakes are more powerful and modulate better.

It does have its disadvantages, like everything else. It has limited slip w/no locker, and there really isn't any engine braking to speak of below about 8 mph, so you have to use the brakes on the steep technical stuff. Some folks have a problem with that. To me it will go anywhere my Foreman will, but does so differently. The Rincon's higher ground clearance is a plus in it's favor on the big rocky steep technical parts.

Again, not bashing the King Quad or the Griz. In my opinion they are both nice machines. I've also come to feel that belt drives are only likely to be a problem if you make it a problem (IE abuse it, or don't maintain it).
