Which 400cc utility?
I am in the market for a new ATV. My price range is around $5000. I am looking for something in the 400cc range. Has anyone seen a shootout on the 400cc? I have been looking at the new Rancher 420 efi. I will mainly be doing trail riding. I come from a sport bike background so I do like to play sometimes as well. What other bikes would be a good for what I am doing?

The latest ATV Magazine - Under $5,500 4x4 utility shootout. Honda Rancher 420, Suzuki Eiger 400, Kawasaki Prairie 360, Polaris Hawkeye 300 and Yamaha Grizzly 350. Top spot went to the Eiger but it was really very close between it and the Rancher, with a distantfollowing of the Griz, Hawkeye and P360. Basically the Eiger and Rancher outperformed the others in almost every area, I'd consider either one as an excellent choice.

Tuff as nails, low maintenance, and the new models come with IRS, diff. lock, and a multi-plate sealed rear brake, not to mention ITP MudLites-stock.

Which 400cc utility?
The more I read the more cant decide. I've moved up to 450's since reading more into things. I might eliminate the Rancher 420 because I am looking for a true automatic. That also rules out the big bear. After reading the review of the eiger 400 I like it. But looking at it I don't like the rear fender setup. So I moved up to the 450's. What do you guys think of these models. Which is fastest and handles the best?
I am looking at the following models
-King Quad 450
-Grizzly 450
-Rancher 420?
-Eiger 400
-Sportsman 450
