Hey, I'm new here and to the atv world. I just bought a 07 Yamaha Big Bear 250. It is great! But I'm looking to get a winch for it. It doesn't have a winch mount so, I need to buy one. If I can. Does any one have a winch on there big bear 250?

I was also looking at this winch, which u don't have to mount on your atv

Portable Mid-span winch

It is made in Canada, and I cant find a site that sells it other then there site. Does anyone have this winch? Does warn make a winch like this?

 

Yamaha has a Warn winch kit for the Big Bear 250 on their website. The winch is the Warn RT/25, and the kit comes complete with winch, roller fairlead, mounting plate, wiring, mini-rocker handlebar switch...

No I dont actually. My Big Bear 250 actually belongs to my son, and he never goes riding alone, so I didnt feel the need to spend the money to put one on his quad. I have an '07 Kawasaki BF650 with a winch on it, should he get into trouble.
