IT'S DEFFINAELY NOT CANCER, IT'S CALLED SARCOIDOSIS, WHICH CAN BE TREATED BY STERIODS, BUT THEY CAN'T GET HIS LUNG TO SEAL. THEY DID SOMETHING DIFFERENT, AND HE WILL BE HOME WITHIN THE NEXT 48HOURS BECAUSE THEY FOUND A DIFFERENT WAY TO SEAL HIS LUNGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will be able to go back to work in about one month, and I'll get my ridin-fishin-huntin buddy back.

Tyler never give up your faith in GOD and prayer , i to have just read this thread ; and i'll keep you all in my prayers !
I'm a living Miracle myself , i can't count the time's the Lord has spared my life through power in prayer ; on Sunday March , 2nd 1975 i lost both my leg's just below the knee's while myself and my younger brother were helping a friend who was a confirmed Atheist push his Dad's car out of the road after we ran out of gas less than a 10th of a mile from his driveway !
We were trying to push the car to this small pond that was on the property of a farmhouse our friend was renting , he and his wife had been seperated for a little over a month before this accident happened ; we had just pushed the car across the road and were with 10 yard's of this small path beside the pond !
We were pushing the car backward and had just pushed it to the other side of the road with me on the passerger side of the hood , my brother Dan was pushing at the driver side ; and our friend was at the driverside pushing and steering the car !
We had to wait on one more car to pass before we would've been home free , it was in the teen's all day and by this time it was down to the single digit's when my friend yelled get out of the road the car isn't going to ; and everything went black for me i had been leaning over the hood trying to catch my breath i jumped upright from the hood just as the other car hit me !
The young woman that was driving the other car had taken her eye's from the road for just a few second's to get her 8 month old daugter from the floorboard , her 8 year old sister was sitting on the passenger side ; she saw our car first and yelled at her sister to stop !
But when she looked up all she had time to do was to try to swerve the car enough that it wasn't a head on impact , my brother told me later that when the car's hit it sent me straight up into the air and i came down on what was left of my leg's ; both my leg's were shreaded from just below the knee's with double compound fracture's to both Femire's !
I don't know how long i was out but i came to lying in the middle of the road and i could only see my hand in front of my face , i tried to get up so i could get out of the road ; but each time i tried my friend would tell me to lay still you're hurt real bad ; but i kept trying to get up and i told my friend i think my leg is broke !
My friend kept telling me to lay still and not to move or try to stand up , i told him to at least get me out of the road before another car come's along and run's over me again ; so he dragged me to the side of the road and i stopped trying to get up !
I kept going in and out and my friend told me willie i don't know if there is a GOD but let's pray , i remember saying the Lord's Prayer which he didn't know ; he just repeated the word's as i spoke them !
I kept going in and out from just after the crash untill we were in the Amblulance with the EMT's and the ride to the Hospital which was 35 to 40 mile's from the accident site ; untill they rolled me into the ER Entrance when one of the EMT's ask a nurse what do you want us to do with this bag !
I rose up on the gurney and ask what bag ?
The nurse ask how long i has he been awake ?
The EMT's said he's been in and out of it since the crash , the ride to the Hospital and the ER , then i heard the nurse say he's going into shock ; and they kept me in an iduced coma for 3 day's because everytime i came to i would try to get out of bed !
I remember everytime i came to , alarm's would go off and ordery's would come and strapp me down to the bed and the last thing i would see was a nurse come at me with a big needle and stick me to knock me out ; after they finally let me come to for 30 minute's at a time i saw my brother inlaw first !
When he came into the room he didn't know what to expect , the doctor's had told all my family and friend's that if i lived i could have brain damage ; and when he walked in the door he looked worried untill i gave him a one finger salute and his face turned into a big grin !
Giving someone the bird may sound like i don't believe in GOD , it was just the first thing that came to my mind that i knew my brother inlaw would know that i was the same in my mind as i was before the accident that took my leg's ; he gave the rest of the family and friend's the good new's !
I was in the ICU for 3 and a half day's , then put in a semi private room with a guy who had shot hisself in the foot with a 22. cal. pistol , and he was moaning from the minute they put me in this room ; i told my brother inlaw that i couldn't handle being in a room with anyone like this i told him to get me a private room !
The Director of the Hospital was married to the Safety Director of the Company i drove a truck for , as was my brother inlaw and three of my brother's were Driver's at the same Company ; the saftey Director told my brother inlaw to talk to her husband about a private room !
My brother inlaw told the Hospital Director he would stand good for the private room , because our company insurance wouldn't cover a private room ; so i was only in the semi private room for less than 30 minute's before they put me in a private room !
I spent 3 week's in traction , 1 week in a full bodycast from my knee's to my chest ; then home in the bodycast for 10 month's before getting out of the cast and almost 3 year's before i could drive a car again !
Just a little over 4 year's later my Dad was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer with less that a month to live , six day's before my Dad passed away my eldest brother had a massive heart attack from a blood clot that went from his right leg ; to one of his lung's causing the Heart attack !
My Dad wasn't even able to cry for his eldest son , just 6 day's later Dad Passed away ; so we had to bury my brother and my Dad in less than a week !
And after all the pain and suffering i've had to endure , i've never given up my faith in God and prayer ; and my Mom had to have one of her breast removed and she has survived without chemo or radiation the Doctor got all of the cancer !
She turned 75 yrs. old on her birthday of this last year 2007 , and she still get's around as good as before the surigery ; and i pray that she out live's me !
But that's for God to deside if and when my time will come , i know that GOD spared my Life because he had other plan's for my life ; everytime i'm out and about people come up to me and tell me how much they admire me for being able to get around with no leg's and they have both leg's and can't get around as good as i do !
I've had a few people who didn't have the kind of Faith that i have tell me they would rather be dead than in my shape , i just tell them to go to any Hospital and visit these little Children that have Cancer's ; or are pararlized and in wheelchair's their whole live's then tell me they feel sorry for me with no leg's !
There is a story that i've heard all my life , i was sad because i had no shoe's to wear ; untill i came across a man who had no feet ; and the Lord could take me before i post this reply but that is for God to deside so don't give up the Faith in Prayer ! ...........

WOW thats just great to hear Tyler Happy New years! What a great way to start the new year.I lost both my parents to cancer so it kinda takes my breath away when I hear the c word.Fortunately even tho Ive had a hard life I cant really complain I still have my health,a great job a roof over my head an my toys.
Life is really short an I use to be like I got tomorrow or next year an now Its like I dont have 10 minutes to get everything I can in.My dad went on a boyscout trip w my bro in 1993 he was gonna fish an instead helped people at the camp find the office he came back an said awwee theyll be next year to fish w mike. about 4-5 months later he was dead in 3 short weeks from Leukemia there was No next year. 4years later my mom got diagnosed w ovarian cancer an we didnt think she was gonna live 6 months specially after they gave her too much chemo..She survived for 3.5 years an drs an nurses told bro an I it was because she had her kids she lived for or else she would gave up along time ago.It will be 7 years w out her this february 13. TO see kids disrespect there parents or grand folks in the stores,or hear co workers say they hate there mom an dad or wives etc breaks my heart cause they dont even relize what there saying and someday its gonna happen an they will have regrets all I can think is I wish I could make those people eat there words before they opened there mouths.
My faith has gotten me thru alot of crap an Tyler your parent have alot to be proud of.People think an say all kinds of things an dad told me 1 ya say something ya cant take it back.1 month before he died I got in a petty fight w him ,we were shouting an I said when are you gonna stop yelling at me when you die an he said yeah when I die.Thats 1 of the few things I regret that I cant eat my words an I cant take it back.Anyhow GOd bless an take care an Have fun fishing an 4 wheeling w your dad.

Great News Tyler!. Williebee and Sugarhead, keep the faith and keep on keepin' on. I have lifelong cerebral palsy, and I know how hard it can get some days. Some days ya just want to fade to Black and switch off for good. Especially so when dealing with all the Fruits,Nuts, Vegetables, and Meatheads running around in the world.

Thanks everyone, he hasn't made it home yet because everytime they turn off the machine attached to his chest tube, his lung collapses. I talked to him a few minutes ago, and he said, they have turned the machine off again, and his lung hasn't went back down yet. If it's still up in the morning, they will take the tube out, and he will get to come home the day after. Sorry to hear about your parents sugarhead, and everything that has happened to you williebee.
