Default Exhaust for 07 Grizzly 450

I am new to the site and wondering if anyone here has put on aftermarket exhaust on their grizzly 450. I have been to websites of a few manufacturers and haven't had much luck finding an exhaust. I spoke to a LRD rep today and LRD apparently doesn't make one for Grizzly 450 and HMF has not returned my email but on their website there is no listing on any of their exhausts for the 07 grizzly 450. I would appreciate any help anyone can provide as far as websites to companies that definately make an exhast for griz 450 and websites to buy from that have good pricing. Thanks..........

I am also looking to put on a lift kit. Does anyone have a recommendation on one to buy or not to buy. I have looked online at the highlifter and extreme products but don't know if one is better than the other or not. I am currently running ITP Mudlites on SS112 wheels 26/10/12front and 26/12/12rear and want a little more ground clearance.

I asked the same questions in 2007 when I looked at the 450 grizzly. I was told to 'wake up' the 450, put on an HMF pipe, Dynojet kit, and a K&N filter kit with an Outerwears prefilter. Try Rocky Mountain ATV for parts. For a lift kit try Rubber Down Customs.

A great online directory is www.dirttoys.com

I was gonna buy the HMF pipe also but opted against it 'cause the last Big Gun pipe I had on a 400 Kodiak was a waste of money. I didn't notice any "real" horsepower gain but on the other hand it sounded awesome!!!

I put on the power tip this time to get a bit of the grumble and went with an EPI clutch kit. Now it's thumbs up wheelie poppin' fun for Junker and all for almost even steven pricing as a slip on pipe.

But if you want one I think that Pro Circuit also makes on for the 07 450. Might be worth checkin' out.

Thanks for the info Hefty, I will check into RockyMOuntain and the dirttoys website. I'll let you know what I come up with.

GI JUnker, thanks to you as well. I PM'd you earlier. NIce ride, its just like mine! Same model, camo, wheels, and tires!!!! I thought I had one sweet ride, now theres 2! Anyway, appreciate the info. If you get a chance, let me know what a power tip is and how it works and compares to a new pipe., I am new to the modification world of ATVs and still learning so any info will be appreciated.

none yet, just got done riddin and you can barely even tell its camo'd right now!
Looks more like burnt orange..........I will take some once I get done with mods in the next few weeks. I checked on the Pro Circuit pipe earlier and all they seem to offer now is the 660 Grizzly, but thanks for the info. At this point all I have found for our ride is the FMF Powerline slip on pipe.

Hey, I ended up getting a 2" HIghlifter lift and a Supertrapp Mudslinger exhaust w/ exhaust snorkel. I may not put they snorkel on the exhaust, I haven't made up my mind yet. I don't really like the way it goes on and looks, so I may send it back. I thought it would be something I could take on and off as needed for mudriding, but it pretty appears to be a permanent application. I'm going to get with a guy I know that does ATV perfromance work and let him look at it. Apparently Team Highlifter uses this exhaust exclusively and have had a lot of success with it. I have never heard of it but apparently they have been around since the 80s. The Mudslinger is designed for offroading and mudriding so it should hold up better than some of the others that aren't really designed internally to be gotten wet or muddy. We'll see how it goes.
I ended up getting a Warn XT 2500 (synthetic rope) winch as well, so I'll be totally set up (for a while anyway) in a few days!
