Agree again..

But the people that buy that thing are probably the same people who spend $300-$400 on Storage boxes and $600-$700 for new rims and tires the Day they buy their quad...

Why spend $160 on a "TigerTail" when that money is better put towards a winch... and if you already have a winch.. save the $160 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I am sure they sell the product... they only created it as their engineers felt there was a need / demand for said product..

 

It is something I'll be buying for winter riding up here in NH.
Something that fast and easy to use would have been really nice this past winter.
I ride sweep and end up pulling a lot of quads out of snowbanks.

 

If you're really set on a retractable tow strap and don't want to spend 160 bucks then you can buy a retractable tow strap from Northern Tool And Hydraulic.

They're 14 ft. long compared to the 15ft. offered by the "tigertail" but they have a 9000 pound rating compared with 8000 on the "tigertail".

Best of all it's on 27 bucks compared to 160 for the "tigertail". For the price of the "tigertail" you could buy 5 of them and have money left over.

Retractable tow strap

I'm considering picking one up since I'm getting tired of rolling up my tow strap or having it in a tangled mess every time I fish it out of the trunk.

 

When you ride with a few people a tow strap is way better than a winch since its faster. It won't replace a winch but its easier. As for that tigertail its cool but I can't use it in the front of my machine and if my atv isn't close I can't take it off and use it on another machine.

Now <u>THAT</u> is a useful product. I might never buy it, but it's cheap enough to at least consider buying.

 

its a nice product,but will only benefit some users

 

only clue if they will offer it in a longer lenght rope?
