It can't be all about brand loyalty when the best selling brand is the only one that hasn't had a single vote yet. Some people's choices are based more on the actual specs, ATV reviews, and seeing them in videos than it is on brand loyalty. I never rode any of them and haven't seen any of them on the trails either. If I could only vote for one that I actually rode I wouldn't get to vote at all.

I don't go for that whole bigger is better thing myself, so I wouldn't actually buy any of them. I think this class of ATVs is the one that's most likely to get all ATVs banned. Some of them have more power than an army jeep and will go a whole lot faster since it's not a 4 person vehicle. Put these in the hands of power-hungry idiots and see what happens. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] And I'm not saying that everyone who buys them are idiots. Just some of them.

 

I agree with you Jumbo a 550 Sportsman for the most part will go anywhere a 850 Sportsman will go and probobly even further as a 550 is not going to be as thirsty as a 850. I do know the guys who like mud bogging like the bigger HP and that is cool but to buy a big Sportsman 850 just to jo fast IMO is dumb as you just have a death wish.

This is the exact reason I bought my Raptor 700R for the times I feel the need for speed, and does just that and faster than any 4x4 will ever go and I feel safe doing it.

I know there are those who can only afford or want one machine but I can tell you first hand my Popo 600 sometimes even get the best of me and is more of machine than anyone needs!

Sorry for the rant but this is just MO and to each there own!

 

When I started riding ATVs 400s and 500s were the biggest engines around (as far as I know) and now you can get double that. What's next? 2 liter engines? I'm sure some people would want them, and even more. People keep buying smaller cars for better mileage, and bigger ATVs because they're bigger. The way it's going, some day in the near future people might have ATVs with more power than their cars. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I have an 08 grizzly 700 and love it, it may not be the fastest big bore but it goes fastest enough for me. Plus it won't spend the time in the shop that other brands do.
