the best 4by4 you can get I think is the honda rancher 4by4's forman 450 and the
new honda rubicon 500 hondamatic and (esp)
and the palaris 500

 

Just to add my two cents.... you asked about the ARtic cat, I have heard that they have the same front diff. as the king quad (which you can manually "lock" ) if my memory serves me correctly all the A.C. is missing from being able to this is the linkage. I may be wrong???? anyone....please clarify. You can get them in auto or manual too.

That is only on the 300 4x4. It has the linkage the just didn't make it long enough to engage the locker. If you modify it to use the locker u will lose 2wd.
