What about the Grizzly? It's fast, and it's 4wd.

Why go for a Hummer when you could have a tank? Max will out preform a Hummer and any other 4x4. Here's why:
1. A Max with tracks will out mud a Hummer. The Hummer could take as much as three feet of mud (all mud no water) while the Max with tracks will take four feet of mud before it even sinks in.
2. The Max is 56" wide which is small enough for nearly any wooded trail. It has skid steer which allows for easy movement around trees and obsticles. Tight turning is what you really need for the woods.
3. Max will swim across any depth of water just like a boat. If you feel you need more water speed just add an outboard motor. No need to hastle with a boat and ATV, with a Max you have both.
4. Max offers a bigger engine than any other ATV on the market. It is a 725cc Kohler with enough power to carry four adults and just about anything you can hook to it. My 14hp Max II took three people everywhere yesterday. I'd like to see a 4x4 go over a 24" log while carrying three people.
5. The Max IV has bigger stock tires than any other ATV (26x12x12). This gives a full 10" of unobstucted ground clearance. I believe that is ACTUALLY more than the SP500. The SP500 will sit lower with only you on it and really get lower when you hook on a trailer. The Max's 10" of clearance is about 24" wide giving room to clear wider objects. Once you get used to the Max you will find that ground clearance is really not that important with six wheels.
6. Max has a top speed of 30mph which is more than enough for off roading. Instead of buying mods for a quad you could buy a different engine for the Max with higher RPMs so it would go faster. If you go faster than 30mph it is safe to say that your terrain is pretty tame. If you need to go 60mph, get a truck.
7. Max with tracks can drive in ANY amount of snow just like a snowmobile. With only about 1 PSI on the ground, Max can drive where you can't walk.

In Mud. In Snow. In Water. Incredible.

You can buy a polaris 6x6 or ranger 6x6 and put track on it like on the max. I think that if you want a little bit of speed, forget about the max, it doesn`t have any suspension and that skid steer would be dangerous...If you plan on riding in very high water, buy a boat.

If Max6x6 wouldn't lie so much we wouldn't get so pissed.

The Max IV does not come with the 26" tires standard.

Where do you see that the mx has 10" of clearance? I am looking at the max site and it sas it is only 6 inches.

I didn't "go over" a 24" log, but I did "go over" 25" pipe with 3 people on my quad. It was buried but I did "go over" it.

I can run over the max with my Hummer and crush it like a papershell pecan.

I want speed and I want to feel like in driving an ATV not a crane so the max is out of the question.

The Max IV does come with 26" tires. You have your choice of three different types/sizes. They are not "after market" tires like you have to buy with a quad.

A tracked Polaris 6x6 is just as ****ty as a regular Polaris 6x6. The atving.com review of the SP6x6 is especially retarded. They do their very best to make something from nothing. What an impractical pos for too many reasons to list.

The 6" of clearance is with 21" tires.

Boner instead of riding your quad on a road where pipes are burried, why don't you go off road and try to see what I am talking about? I've taken 100 feet of mud with my Max. That is 99 feet of water and 1 foot of mud. Let's see your quad do that.

Engineer if you don't want the best I don't care.

You should have bought a Max!

ok first of all i think i with all of us we dont give a flying f*** about the max i think if you plan to do work and mud water and dont want a boat the rubicon or 400es-s they both sound good and are under 600 pounds and personally i dont think you need too sporty of a quad since you have a 400ex and 250r

Max, why do ATVs out sell Max's? And why do they out sell every other type of motorcycle?
Don't you get it? Nobody wants a Max!
