Just went up to the snow yesterday, and all I can say is wow... I was really impressed with how they did in the snow! I was passing trucks out in the deep stuff on the shoulder of the road (hee hee got some funny looks too) I got my high performance kit on friday and man did that make a difference too. Stuff that I used to have to be in 1st to go, I can be in 2nd sometimes 3rd, and its a ton more "torqy" than it was..

So Brad,

You would recommend the high perf. kit for my 300? If it does what you say it does then its exactly what I want! I'm also replacing my bearings ASAP then I'll begin work on a snorkel system (I hope!!). I'm going to have to spend some of the money I had saved for the kit on the bearings, but if I dont do that, I wont be able to ride even if I did buy the kit !!!

Matt
definatly.... I'm still got a little bit of didaling in on the jetting , (but I'm real close!) and man did it make a difference! The best way to describe it is kinda like gordon said befor " if you used to only be able to do something in first, you can do it in 2nd or third now", I know that when I was on a steep hill befor I couldn't spin the bugs in second (from a stop) now all I do is pin the gas and hold on! It breaks them lose without any hesitation!

my advise: save the money then...
GO FOR IT

Thanks brad!
I bought the bearings today they cost 105.85! That included the 4 seals.

ForemanES, I like how your winch is mounted. You can't even see it! Do you really have a winch on it or is that just a cable? lol!

I like tucked up and under too...but at times it can be a pain..like when your buried up to the bottom of the rack and you got to reach up and under to free spool the cable out (I normally just power it out because of this) I have seen quads with winches mounted out front, I sure would hate to plow a tree with it like that

Brad,
I agree about the winch thing. My friends asked why I mounted it under there and I said because I'll probably hit a tree. And within a week I was pushing down trees to clear a trail. I wouldnt have been able to do that with the winch up there.
