Fishin, I have a v-plow from Cycle country. Works great on my 97 big bear SE 4x4. I have a 100' drive and 50x50 asphalt surface parking areas to keep clean in front of the garage and house. I drilled some extra holes to let the plow angle more to thro thesnow away better like the moose county plow can. I push ahead more snow than go back and forth down the driveway. Good luck on your decision.

I also have the 50 inch moose. My Mag 500 handles it with ease.Very well built.Dealer told me he's sold v-plows(polaris) and cycle country.Says they haven't performed very well.Cutting edges wear out fast.Mine I just let her drag on the ground.Still looks brand new.

I have a 60" MOOSE County Plow and it is great. I have it mounted on my 98 Grizzly 600 and use my SuperWinch 2000 to raise and lower it. I can connect and disconnect it in minutes. I have a 650' gravel driveway that I have cleared with ease. My neighbors love it also as I clear all their driveways.

The thing is a real tank. It is very heavy duty and heavy. When I lift it the shocks compress about 3 inches before the blade will even leave the ground. Polaris sends wedges to put between the springs to help with this on thier blades.

It also is tapered, so it is taller on one side than the other, thereby allowing you to angle it with the taller end rolling up the snow. It has a rubber flap mounted along the top to stop the deep stuff from coming over the top. It also helps to stop the light snow from blowing up into your face. The only draw back is that when it is lifted all the way up the rubber flap covers up my headlights. This probably wouldn't be a big issue if you had a handlebar mounted light such as the Polaris SP 500 does.

I give my MOOSE County Plow a thumbs up.

The County Plow works well, but it's mainly designed for use in one direction. I, personally, like the option of being able to swivel the blade to plow on either side. While this is possible on the County Plow, it won't throw the snow as well when swiveled to the left. It mainly depends on your particular needs.

MOOSE, I have a Moose 60" plow on my Sportsman 335. I ordered my online from Hi-Per Sports in Colorado. WWW.HI-PER.COM Plow with mount kit was about $350 delivered. I have a winch so I didn't get the manual lift kit, that's extra. -Glen

What is the difference between the moose & the County 60"plows. Can either push dirt or gravel too?

I have a 1999 Grizzly and was looking at that website listed above www.hi-persports.com, They offer both.
