Buying American has become difficult to define in the past decade. Overseas part sourcing, merging with foreign companies and manufacturing outside the U.S. are finacial choices that American manufacturers have made to be more competitive. However, the key is that even if a Japanese manufacturer has an office in California and manufacturing in Georgia, it's profits still return to Japan. In my opinion, I think it is better to buy a product because of it's quality and value for you personally, not it's country of origin.

The polaris seems to have way to much plastic to break, but the Grizz has a huge brushguard, thick skid plates, and is less money. Whadya think?

I bet with my diff lock I can tow any Polaris around! And that makes me hold my head up high!
An't that the truth. I have a Harley and all my auto's are GMC's, but I'm not going to spend more of my hard earned money for something that doesn't even come close to the Grizzly cause Polaris markets it as made in the America when we know where it comes. Where I work we sale to Japan. So what's the difference?
If you only want to buy American you better go live in the hills and grow you own food, but then you won't be a part of what makes this country so great.
