Polaris 600 or Grizz 660?
I'm in the market, but all my boys tell me is go with the Polaris. I compare and the Grizz is freaky bad with the different 4x4 locks. The Polaris tows more, and I will be using it for work and play. The polaris seems to have way to much plastic to break, but the Grizz has a huge brushguard, thick skid plates, and is less money. Whadya think?

Polaris 600 or Grizz 660?
Can't speak for the Polaris but I love my 02' Grizz. It is an excellent wheeler. I have had nothing but fun and good luck out of it. When I hit the trails it is sporty and quick and when it is time to work it has not let me down yet. I have done every thing from going over 60 down the road to disking a deer plot with a 5 foot disk. Absolutly no complaints from me. This bike doesn't just look tuff it is. It may not be the fastest or pull the most weight but I couldn't ask for anymore out of a wheeler.

I really don't think you can go wrong with either one.
They each definately have their own 'feel' when driving them.
Grizz advantages:
The Grizz has a bigger engine,
is lighter (less weight to fight on the trail),
narrower to fit thru narrow trails better,
has lighter steering,
and 4 wheel engine braking
The Sportsman has (over the Grizz)
better, heavier tires,
wider, more stable,
no rev limiter when in true 4wd mode,
bigger rack & towing capacity (although in practical terms I think they would handle about the same)
& it is heavier (better for plowing snow)
I may have forgotten a few things, but that is what pops to mind

Polaris 600 or Grizz 660?
I was in the same situation. I narrowed it down between the same 2 quads. Today I made the decision based on these:
1) looks
2) backup recoil starter
3) 4wd system (operator being in control)
4) location of the instrument panel
5) weight 600lbs
6) irs
Those are the reasons why I purchased the Grizzly. I am not biased. It is all in what you are looking for.
My friends who I ride with have 700 sportsman, 500 sportsman, 650 praire, 500 Vinson. After looking at all of them, and friends wanting you to buy what they have, I decided the Grizz was the best for me.
Hope this helps.....
