Foreman tires
#4
There is a post just like this 3-4 posts down!!!
I have 27x9 front and 27x12 rear on my '98 450s on stock wheels and suspension with no noticable power loss and no rubbing anywhere. My frame greatly appreciates the added ground clearance, and I enjoy rearely getting stuck, and not fixing flats anymore.
Note: Forman 450's have 12" tall rims all round, 400 have 11's which will limit your tire selection.

Check out the Goodyear Mudrunners before you go with the 589's. They are a more flexible and lighter tire with just as much bite. The Mudrunner does 10 times better in the snow also. It's able to pancake out (without air in it) and let you float on the top without digging like the stiff 589 does. The mudrunner also will give you a better ride and conform to obsticles better because it's a softer tire. My .02
