I have been looking around for winches and i have decided to get the Ramsey 2500 winch with the wireless remote. I wanted to know if all i had to get with that is the Ramsey mounting kit for my Bayou 300 4x4 and if i needed anything else because i will also be using it to lift my plow up and down. I found it for $390.00, did anyone find it cheaper?

try checking aluminumproducts.com, call and check. i bought a ramsey 2500 wireless for my rubicon from them cant remember the exact price but i know it was the cheapest i could find at the time. they make only honda products but they also sell the winch, you probably would have to call for the price. they probably also dont sell a mounting kit for your bayou. also, you might need a hoist or pully thingy(ha ha) saw something like that on another site. but then i could be wrong! Hope this helps!!!!!

 

by the way the winch is great pulls everything out of everywhere. went fishing for a praire 650 and grizzly 660, came home with both hahahaha. its great though but i dont use the remote much. the swith they provide works better than the warn swivel switches.

 

They also have a outstanding warranty. I sent mine back ofter killing it in a snow drift and they sent me a brand new one.
