Maintenance on my rancher.
#17
Our rancher gets left outside 75% of the time and probably gets washed 3 times a year. It is ridden every day and sees plenty of major work and play. No problems with the engine, frame, tranny, or anything else. The only bad thing is that the choke sometimes freezes closed in winter. There was a guy on these forums last week that washed his 2003 everytime he rode, now its rusted all over. Hmmm, makes you think....

That’s because you use yours so it never gets the chance to "freeze up." and 250xrkrider just put his plastic on that he got for x-mas. He says he didn’t what to go riding because he was afraid his plastic might get scratched from tree branches. Or get dirt on his plastic, dirt the dry stuff not mud the wet stuff. He also didn’t want to ride because he had a nail in his tire. It wasn’t letting any air out that I know of but I don’t know details. Hey 250xrk rider doesn’t take this the wrong way. I understand why you didn’t what to ride but the stuff you were saying was pretty funny. I had to tell after all hell you gave me when I first got my quad. Revenge, ha ha ha.
