Just wondering who has done this I was busting around in the snow and noticed it would on go about 11 mph and that makes it hard to get out of a deep hole if you need to go backwards also how is it done I did it on the Raptor and it was simple thanks in advance RY

try going to atvoffroadextreme.com they have a simple easy method to bypass the rev limiter in reverse, and trust me i know what you mean getting out of a deep hole backwards. it really annoyed me trying to back up and the rev limiter stopped me from getting up to speed enough to back out so i bypassed it and it works just be careful because she really takes off going backwards after you bypass it. hope this helps you it helped me

HEY RaptorRY. To bypass the rev limiter, take your left side panel off and look for a green and white striped wire. It will be a single wire on its own not in a harness. Simply unplug it and take the front half and ground it to the frame. You will know you have the right wire when you unplug it because the reverse indicator light will go out right away. This is the only set back that the light will not work. I installed mine on a toggle switch so under normal conditions the light works. Hope this helped.

I was told B-4 that it would work on the 450 but I'm not sure about the 400
I'm thinking off puting a push button switch in to the head light switch console if I can get it to fit so it will work like a PIGLARIS push in and it would disable the limiter and when your thumb came off the limiter would come back on I hope I can get this to work.. See ya RY
