best low speed pulling lagre ATV ?
Ive got a old 86 - 4x4 350 honda that needs a rest so Im looking for a good low speed 4x4. I have alot of hills & heavy wooded areas
that require low speeds but want to buy a new ATV. I like the idea of the Large 650-700 ones but dont know if they pull good at low
speeds? I prefer changing gears & are there any hi/lo gear transmission ATVs still made or have been made in the past few years ?

i don't know exactly how much you will want to pull, But i have a 02 grizzly and live on a farm so i pull alot of stuff with mine and have no problems the most i have pulled is a hay trailor with bales in it that was about 2500-3000 pounds which far excedes the recomendations from the company. I have pull started a pickup or 2 with it and pull a utility trailor for fixing fences that is about 1200 pounds with all my gear in it several times a week and have had no problems as long as you stay in low range you can pull far more then is rated for it. hope this has helped you out

Take your JAP motor out and other foriegn parts on that Polaris and what do you get? American "assembled" plastic. In that case, Honda and Yamaha are just as American made as your Polaris. The majority of those in the U.S. are assembled here (Creating many jobs for Americans). You can keep your Polaris Crap. I love American made products but I gotto give credit where credit is due. Those JAP made machines will out perform and out last any POS Polaris.
Chuchinnc,
Go ask any dealer which stock machine will pull better low end and they will tell you the p650. I'm not just B.S.ing you! Go see for yourself.

Just my experience only, the P650 was not a good puller/worker (meant in the working mode) it pulled great in acceleration, hill climbing and all but for long term working pulling, carrying heavy loads, my P650 was not good compared to the other machine I have owned (Traxter 500,Polaris 600, Honda 350's)! Just my experienced only ........................ MJSTX
