Default Rincon right for me?

Snowbuster.
I say that in 2004 or 2005 the prairie 650(acually 633) will be the prairie 700 because it is cheaper for kawasaki to build one engine insted of two. It is also cheaper to make parts for one engine than two. you follow

Schef. YEAH everybody knows that 600 dollars is pocket change. yesterday my neighber paid me 650$ to mowe her lawn. I just got to say you are one of the most ignorent people on this fourm that i have spoken to. DO you even have a clue what 600 dollars could do to a prairie.
1 . snorckle with jetting will get at least 1 1/2 horses .50$.
2. air filter will give at least 1/2 to 1 horse .25$.
3. jets . not jet kit but 145 and 148 main jets .15$.
4. exuast mod if you have the tools it is free and you could gain 4 horsepower .0$.
5 then the CDI witch will give you power to pop whieles going 15 mph on a 650(wet) pound quad .330$.

for a grand total of 420$ ..

with thease mods you will be able to beat piped and jetted rapptors, DS650, 400ex,z/kfx400 and stock kfx700. Also Schef a rincon will not do something a prairie couldnt do. WHere do you get of saying that a p650 is more of a utility quad than the rincon. The p650 is more of a sport quad than any other big bore 4x4,and that is a fact. it is also is more of a utility quad than a rincon.
rack capacity f/r rincon 66/133 prairie 88/176
Towing Rincon 850 ibs p650 1250 IBS
So for less than the difference than what you will pay for a rincon over a P650 you could have a 4x4 that can beat all of the big bore sport quads . Or you can get a rincon that cant even keep up with a stock p650 much less the one i listed.
And if looks are so important than why do people buy polaris quads they look like a box.
Not trying to bash polaris its just true.

I don't need to answer why the p is more of a utility... you have already answered your own question.

I'm not here to knock the investment that you made. You are obviously very proud of what you spent your money on, as you should be. The majority of quads out are all very good at one thing or another. We can sit here arguing about which is better overall till our fingers fall off but the truth is that it depends on your style as to which one you think is better. There is no such thing as a "best" quad in general. "Best" is relative to each person. You say the p650 is the best, I say it's the Rincon. I am pretty sure that the fact that both of us threw thousands of $$$ towards our choices would make it hard to admit we made a bad decision. I am right with respect to my needs are you are right in respect to yours.

It seems that you want an all around badass quad that does things that I have no need for. I personally don't plan on climbing any mountains with my quad and so I don't feel the need for lockers like the p650. I also do not need to carry or tow much weight with it, so the 850lb is more than enough. I do however want a ride that is smooth as silk. The IRS on the Rincon gives me that. I also want to feel comfortable with the handlebar and peg placement. Again, the Rincon gives me that where as the p650 felt awkward to me. I don't need to go 80mph on my Rincon. If I want to go that fast, I will buy a true sport quad that will allow me to do that speed safely.

As for the $600 issue. That is less than 10% of the total price of the quad. I would be more than willing to pay a few hundred more to get something I will be happy with. There is nothing worse than regrets.

Check out the suzuki vinson. I was debating between the Honda Foreman ES and the Suzuki Vinson. Three separate salesman recommended the Suzuki. Lots of power and great handling +cheaper. I only have 16 miles on mine but so far it is everything they promised. Good Luck.

I expected them to push the Foreman because it was $400 more than the Vinson (more money in their pocket). The Foreman seemed to be a nice machine, but they said they preferred the ride / suspension on the Suzuki. There are some great machines on the market today. I guess it all boils down to personal preference.

Thanks for the kind words 250xRKrider. Yeah the nifty little camera under my name will point you in the right direction snowbuster. But this will get you to the same place. Wait a week to see new pics! I have ITP 589's, KC lights, and RAM GPS mount to add to it. I think it should look a little different. Everything should come in tomorrow (according to UPS and Fedex) so we shall se

And if you are REALLY bored, you can checkout a hundred or so of my pics that I put up. They were taken a few months after I got my camera when I was still learning so they could be better, but it gives you an idea of what kind of terrain I see here in South Texas. See it HERE.
